Von Lützows Freikorps Hussar 1813

As popular fervour grew towards liberating German states from Napoleon in that year, militia/landwehr ranks quickly swelled, to greatly enlarge the size of the prussian army by the middle of that year. Of course these were not drilled soldiers but what they lacked in skill that made up for in determination for a great rising up against Napoleon, whose shattered Grand Armee was quickly refilling its ranks, such that they had the nickname of being the Rache Korps "vengeance corps"
